In early January, Crossland Heavy Contractors (CHC) repaired a leak on the 60” diameter raw water pipeline that conveys water from BWD’s North Intake to our treatment plant. The line had to be taken out of service for the repair, which significantly reduced BWD’s capacity. The repair of this critical pipeline was very challenging, but CHC crews tirelessly worked long days to cut a planned 7-day repair to approximately 4 ½ days. BWD greatly appreciates the outstanding job and hard work of CHC!
